In1986KalininaandLukinparticipatedinthecreationofthefirsttest-tubebabyinUSSR.AgirlnamedElenaafterElenaKalininawasborninFebruary1986.NowElenaismotherherself,raisinga4-year-oldsonconceivednaturally.

In1995-2003ElenaKalininaandValentinLukintogetherhavebeencreatedandraisedanIVFDepartmentofMoscowMedicalAcademynamedafterM.A.Sechenov.Duringthisperiodthecoreofourestablishedandenlargedbyob-gynandIVFspecialistssuchasDariaShirokova,GrygoryPopov,andrologist-embryologistVadimKorenev,embryologistIrinaKalininaalongwithothermedicalstaff.

In1996E.A.KalininaandV.A.LukinamongotherswereawardedthePrizeoftheGovernmentoftheRussianFederationforthework"TheIVFPrograminthetreatmentofinfertilecouples”.

From2003to2005,afterthereorganizationoftheIVFDepartmentofMMAnamedafterSechenovourteamalmostinfullandnotlesssuccessfullyworkedinoneofMoscow'sprivateclinics.Duringthisperiod,ourfriendlyteamwasjoinedbyAnnaGusareva-anexperiencedembryologistofthe“Leonov’sschool”.

Allthattimewewerelookingforgoodlocationtocreateourownreproductivehealthclinicthatwouldallowustoexpandtheabilitytodiagnoseandtreatmaleandfemaleinfertility,toattractthebestspecialistsintherelatedfields.

In2006thislocationwasfound,spacewascarefullyrestoredandremodeled;theuniqueteAMHasacquired,finally,itshome.TheclinicisconvenientlylocatedinaquietgreenareainthecenterofMoscowonthegroundfloorofahistoricalXIXcenturybuildingofInstituteofHumanEcologyandEnvironmentalHygienenamedafterA.N.Sysin.

AtthepresentmomentourteamofenthusiastsisconstantlyimprovingitsexpertiseinIVF,itisinvolvedinactiveresearchandteaching.ElenaKalininaisProfessorof"ObstetricsandGynecology"FacultyfortrainingofhealthcareprofessionalsPeople'sFriendshipUniversity,memberoftheRussianAssociationofHumanReproduction(RAHR)Board.

Inearly2014theclinicmovedtoanewplace,anareaofover1,500squaremeters,setupuponaspecialproject.Newpremisesweredesignedtomakethepatient'sstayinthehospitalcomfortableandstress-free,reducingthewaitingtimefortheprocedureorcheck-up,irrespectiveoftheworkload.

AllthefertilityspecialistsandembryologistsattheclinicaremembersoftheRAHRandtheEuropeanSocietyofHumanReproductionandEmbryology(ESHRE),theyparticipateintheinternationalconferences,congresses,seminarsontheregularbasis,publishresearchpapers,guidelinesandmonographsintheIVFfield.
